ROYAL WEDDING ATTIRE
Friday April 29, 2011
Some of our bags and hats will be worn to the Royal Wedding!
Inspired by the style and flair of Catherine Middleton, full of style yet understated and elegant...we shipped two hats and four bags to be worn to the big event. Hopefully one or two will be paired with beautiful Nanette Lepore dresses, or a Donna Karen dress, and our custom designed hats to coordinate the outfit. Some of the possible color options and choices are shown below: Taupe/champagne, Navy, Ink, Lavender, Purple, Turquoise.

RED CARMEN ROSE BAG ATTENDS LEVINE SCHOOL OF MUSIC EVENT
We very often receive stories and tales which describe events and places which our bags attend on the arms of some of our followers. It is such fun to hear the stories and descriptions people send in. We love to share the latest bag dramas with you. Recently, our Carmen Red Rose Bag attended an opera music event by the Levine School of Music. The story behind this infamous Red Rose Bag arriving to make it to the owner and the event below is a whole other story in itself for another day! Below is one of our latest stories:
Dear S.,
Just took your fun bag for an outing last night. The Levine School of Music had a lovely dinner and musicale at a fabulous Connecticut Avenue apartment, and I attended, bag in hand. The rose fit in well with the decor, and it accompanied me as I passed through the foyer for cocktails, the dining room for a buffet dinner, and on into the living room for the opera recital--selections from Madame Butterfly and Don Pasquale by members of the Levine staff, introduced by Ken Feinberg (head of the Washington National Opera and arbitrator of everything from the 9/11 settlements to the BP spill.) It was a lovely evening, and the bag was the hit of the party!
Thanks so much!
Diana
If you have a story to share, or places your bag has traveled, people they have met, please email us your tales, we love to hear from you!

Out and about last night was our little pink party purse attending The Mark Twain Awards dinner and performance. All time greats such as Steve Martin, Amy Pohler, Seth Myers, and Mad Men star Jon Hamm. Our pink party purse was a hot item in a sea of gray, and black. The table decor for the dinner was simple, elegant and fresh...this little bag felt right at home next to Renee Kalil of Rizik's dres shop, Jacqueline Mars, and Jon Pohanka. Perhaps she should be named Tina!
Fun, Festive, Flirty
Spotted out on the town last night at a beautiful party, was an ole favorite, The Black Dahlia and Rose Classic Bag from 2003! It reminded me of the timelessness of anything black including your accessories. This bag has been out on the town many times, and brushed elbows with many celebs around town, but to see it shine after all those night out was exciting! My little black feather and fur Lady Poof was right at home sitting next to this classic, on the front hall table, and then upstairs in the Master bath where pink champagne was being served to all, by a lovely woman dressed to the nines in a french maid's outfit! Good thing we had our little black dress bags to keep the elevation of chic very high!

Folger Shakespeare Theatre's Henry VIII
Our neutral champagne rose feather clutch was an excellent choice paired with a neutral dress and jacket for the performance of Henry the VIII. The colors of the costumes were vibrant and rich and have inspired the Shakespeare Collection Henry VIII "Katherine" and The "Anne Boleyn" Bags. Rich in texture and color, these bags are regal and noteworthy for the fall and holidays.
